Blogaholic

I think it's a sign.

Today: I started a new blog (I have 4 of my own now, with various themes) and I sold this shirt.

The sign ... time to blog about my blogging t-shirts, mugs, hats and more. You can see this shirt here and two other blogging-inspired designs here at my Cafepress store.

By the way, it's not too late to order one of these items for a Christmas gift. Have anyone on your shopping list that you would describe as a: blog maniac, blogaholic, blogster or blogging freak? Let my store help you out!

Christmas Gifts for the Boys

My kids often see me working on designs for Cafepress and ask if I can make a shirt for them. This year I decided I should do just that and make some t-shirts based on topics they love. My first son loves to eat - hot food, salty snacks, garlic-filled dishes, sweet delights - you name it! So, the first shirt was inspired by him. My second son is enthralled with watching, collecting, and learning about bugs. He really is a little entomologist. I think he'll love the second shirt.

I can't wait until Christmas to give them their shirts and if you have a little food lover or insect watcher you can get some too. Click here:

Proud of Your Roots

My cousin and his wife had a beautiful baby this year and I made a shirt just for him. His mom is from Kenya and his dad is from Canada.

Today I had a request for a similar shirt with the countries of Canada and the United States.

So, if you're from the US, Germany, Ireland, India, Australia, Poland, China or anywhere that has a flag and you would like a baby shirt, blanket, bib or hat (etc.) made for a little one, just send me a request in the comments. Give me your two countries of choice and your email address. I'll make it asap and email you to let you know when it is ready!

Star Trek designs

It's official - I have the "green light" to create graphics and designs for the Star Trek franchise. I used to watch the original series with my older brother (well, I would sneak in the room and watch for as long as he would let me until I had asked one too many questions and he would kick me out.) Then, when I got older, I watched TNG with my younger brother. The movies and Deep Space Nine I watched with my husband. Maybe I'll watch Voyager with our kids when they get older!

At any rate, I've had a blast putting some of my favorite lines, moments and jokes on t-shirts, bags, water bottles and hats. You can see a few of my designs here (click on them to enlarge) or go to the store to see them all: http://www.cafepress.com/hitsandhobbies

The first one took the most work but is filled with Star Trek moments: Red shirt. Fascinating. Beam me up!, Data. Kirk. Spock. Picard. Star date. Jefferies tubes. Resistance is futile. Warp drive. Klingon. Picard. Federation. Lobes. Janeway. Pike. Enterprise. Spock. Red shirt. DS9. Phaser. Vulcan nerve pinch. To boldly go. Red alert. Dabo. Dukat. Wessels. Yar. Sarek. Risa. Prime directive. Archer. Wormhole. Kobayashi. Q. I'm a doctor. Ten forward. Replicator. The needs of the many. I'm a doctor. Holodeck. Subspace. Emmisary. Warp core. DS9. TNG. KHAAAAN! Scotty. Trekkie. All these and MORE...
